Angry Birds for Automotive is now available for cars with Google built-in, bringing the iconic game to touchscreens of in-car infotainment systems.
Today a version of the iconic original Angry Birds game is soaring onto a whole new platform – cars with Google built-in! Angry Birds for Automotive is available for select cars with Google built-in (pictured above in the Volvo EX90) and can be downloaded directly on Google Play. Additionally, the new release incorporates cloud saving functionality for those with a Red’s Club account, allowing players to start a game on a mobile device and continue where they left off in the car.
Last year, Rovio introduced Angry Birds in Mercedes E-Class vehicles, and now the beloved mobile game that launched a global phenomenon is ready to spread its wings and entertain even more players while parked in their cars. Players can experience the classic slingshot action, strategic destruction, and satisfying revenge on those pesky green pigs directly through the vehicle’s built-in infotainment system.
“Angry Birds has a long history of being a go-to game to download on a new device, and we are excited to extend that tradition to new vehicles as well,” said Sami Ronkainen, Director of Tech Games Projects at Rovio. “Passengers can now enjoy the timeless challenge of flinging birds and toppling pigs while parked.”
Angry Birds for cars with Google built-in maintains the core fun and captivating gameplay of the original slingshot game, now specifically optimized for touch screens within vehicles. Passengers can challenge themselves with hundreds of levels of pig-toppling mayhem.
