We are seeking a Head of Live Games to lead and inspire the growth of top titles in the Rovio live games portfolio, including Angry Birds 2 and Angry Birds Dream Blast. In this pivotal role, reporting directly to the CEO, you will use data-driven insights to collaborate with game teams. This partnership will empower them to ambitiously expand their repertoire of features, live operations, and marketing strategies, thus driving profitable growth for years to come.

You will have impact and fun at work by:

  • Driving Revenue Growth: Take charge of the revenue performance of our live games, ensuring continuous and significant growth through strategic initiatives and innovative ways.
  • Cultivating Excellence: Foster a culture passionate about achieving chart-topping performance, emphasising transformative improvements that significantly enhance Lifetime Value (LTV) and marketability.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Partner closely with game teams to disseminate best practices and introduce groundbreaking ideas that propel our titles to new heights.
  • Strategic Leadership: Actively contribute to the live games strategy and collaborate with the Strategic Alignment Team (SAT) to shape and influence Rovio’s overarching global strategy.
  • Problem Solving and Strategic Influence: Identify and address any gaps or obstacles preventing our games from achieving their full potential. Propose and advocate for effective solutions to the SAT, driving decisive actions to meet ambitious goals.

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in operating and scaling Live Games.
  • At least 4 years in leadership roles within the mobile gaming sector, with a solid grasp of business metrics and KPIs.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, capable of translating insights into effective strategic actions.
  • Deep understanding of player motivations with the ability to influence both product roadmaps and strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead game or business unit growth through innovative and strategic approaches.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with experience in influencing stakeholders and shaping team culture.
  • Bold attitude aimed at substantial and sustainable improvements in Lifetime Value (LTV) and marketability.
  • Approachable and open-minded, ready to challenge the status quo and drive significant business growth.
